The Pirates beat Robstown last night 57-49 in a wild game that saw the Robstown coach and 1 player ejected, 4 technical fouls and 2 flagrant fouls all against Robstown!

There were no questionable calls! Robstown tried to play very aggressively but constantly fouled! The Robstown coach was teed up for berating the refs and then popped off again and was ejected!

The new coach is the old coach ! Coach Boswell was head coach 2 yrs ago in Sinton and a former Mathis coach. His claim to fame is that all of his teams have made the playoffs! He is 2-0 so far this year and well liked by his players!

Sinton plays at Calallen Tuesday!

Well even if thats Robstowns style of play they have to adjust to the way the game is being called instead of continuing to foul. High School coaches who get ejected aren't good examples for the kids. I was just wondering about the coach because I talked to the old coach on another board and he said he left.

That was the Skidmore-Tynan JV that Sinton beat, none of those guys will be on the varsity when the football season ends is what their coach said.
