One of the hardest hitting Defenses that I ever saw was owned by the 2001 Commerce Tiger 3A D2 Champs.

The hardest hitting and most intimidating that I ever heard about was 83' Daingerfield.

"the hit" was in the 4A semis against Tivy in '87. Year later, I still think you can see a divot in the Astrodome turf where Tezeno planted him...

Grim Stadium (Tx High) home stadium has a concrete wall (bleachers) not far from the field. This is going a long way back but true. When Earl Campbell played for the John Tyler Lions. He was asked, what is the hardest hit you ever took? This is including college and pros in football. Earl smiles and said,"The wall at Grim stadium in Texarkana". True!

wylie was throwing us around like ragdolls when we played them...i guess its not that they are that hard hitting but that we are really small compared to most varsity squads.......either way that game was full of late VERY HARD HITS!! started getting dirty out there towards the end by both teams but the hits were amazing

The 83 Daingerfield Tigers are the best I ever seen.
