I'm going to say that the Gainesville vs Abilene Wylie game at Texas Stadium will take the attendance honors this week. However, I know that Bridgeport will bring the whole town to Sweetwater and many West Texas fans have expressed an interest in seeing Bridgeport vs Monahans.

Biggest 3A crowd I have ever seen was Vernon and SLC in 92 at Pennington in Bedford. That palce was packed and they were actually refusing people at the gate

Burnet vs. Sinton in 2001. Almost 14,000 at that game at Bobcat Stadium in San Marcus. 7th largest crowd to watch a game there- college or high school.

'95 Stephenville VS. Snyder at Shotwell Stadium. A little over 16,000 people (Almost 10,000 of that was Stephenville.)

I am not totally sure but I would bet that the big District Championship game between BC and WO-S was the largest non-playoff game in 3A this year via attendence.

it wouldn't suprise me at all if Abilene Wylie and Sweetwater didn't have the biggest crowd.

The biggest 3a game was probably the Everman VS. Forney the year Blanton played i think 2000 might be worng though. Pennington field was packed they had people filling the back of the end zones and people on the side lines. I think the announcer said over 22,000

I would guess that the Snyder-Monahans game a couple of weeks ago at Grande Stadium in Midland had 13 or 14 thousand people.

Gilmer Jasper game at Homer Bryce Stadium, Stephen F Austin University, Nacogdoches was standing room only and was estimated at 19,000, the second largest at that Stadium. A playoff game for SFA had slightly more.

10 thousand MAYBE!!!

Whatever the capacity is @ Birdville, I know it was full for Wylie's semi vs Everman and final vs Gatesville back in 2000. I'll see what I can find...
