I think Bridge City takes the region. I always think that when you get down to the end you always have to fall back on the "defense wins championships". I think BC has the strongest defense based off of the numbers they are holding their opponents to.

If stats won games Longview wouldn't be sitting at home right now and BC would probably win this region. I think this past weekend taught us that any of the 4 left have a legit shot. No way to have the slightest clue how our SE Texas teams will far against those central area teams. I have a feeling that we will see either a rematch for the regional finals..I just don't have a clue who it might be.

Of course, it's not the end all be all. The stats merely indicate or what a team trends towards. BH had some great stats and on paper should have beat Kville, but it turned out different. However, it does let you know if the defense is more suseptible. A team consistently week in and week out probably has a greater chance of winning, but I totally agree it's not the end all be all.
