The Rangers say the Florida Marlins have ruled Texas out as trading partner for pitcher Josh Beckett. "In the end, a deal wasn't there," Rangers GM Jon Daniels said.

dang that is awesome if u are a red sox fan such as myself...beckett and lowell are reportedly both goin to the red sox in exchange for some minor leaguers i think...doesnt seem like a fair trade but im all for it :D
