Anyone know if the Marlin/Hutto game is being streamed online?

Thanks 3afan, Sound is terrible, as usual on that website. It's really not even audible with the very loud buzzing in the background. Someday they'll get the right equipment needed to stream, but I guess I need to be thankful that they're broadcasting at all, lol!

It is the way they stream. The crew at the stadium calls their radio station. Then the radio station calls into TSRN...that means you have two phone lines in play, and phone lines ALWAYS distorts broadcasting, and the fact that u have two lines, it makes it worse.
I have never understood why they dont just give the stations the streaming info, then it could be done directly from the station into the computer and that would improve the quality 100%

Absolutely, I had to switch it off because of that buzz. I don't know that it is TSRN, though. I am listening to Katy/Cy-Creek game and it is clear as a bell.

Maybe the school or radio station needs to call the telephone company to get the buzzing fixed then! lol. If there were only a local radio station in one of those two towns with online streaming.. :thinking: Thanks for the info Txbroadcaster :)

Well Dutchman said I didn't know what I was talking about. Maybe so, since I predicted a two td win for the Hippos. Off by a td is close enough for me. Hutto wins by one td in a great game. Hutto's power offense overcomes the Marlin athleticism of Jeremy Saunders who had a terrific game. Good luck Hippos and keep representing D19.

Hutto is a good team. They have been overlooked by a few people this year.

That's right. Hutto is very strong this year and since they have been under the radar they have been successful in upsetting some good teams. Now in the third round everyone is good so it gets very interesting.

I wholeheartedly agree. Hutto has beaten Giddings and now Marlin, both fine teams. BC will have to play a great game if Hutto continues as they did in this last game. D19 is looking real good with all three reps still in it after two rounds. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them makes it to State in either division.

It was a shame one of these teams won't continue on. I knew Hutto had a good team, and since I've never had the opportunity to see Marlin, I had no clue how the two would match up. I thought Hutto would win, but figured it would come down to the wire and maybe won on a FG.
Congrats to Marlin! You'll be back ready to tear 'em up again next year. Congrats to Hutto on the win.

Congratulations are due to Hutto and yes Pudlugger was correct Hutto did win. Marlin probably will not have the chance to return to the playoffs in 3A unless the UIL does something drastic with the enrollment numbers. Good luck to the teams from 19-3A in their playoff run.
