I am listening to the Sweetwater game on the internet..they interviewed Sweetwater Coach Ken Jackson...he was asked what was wrong with the Mustangs? and his answer? "The kids must have been reading too many newspapers and reading too much on the internet."

Sounds to me that the lobos Create a lot of turnovers.. Who ever plays them needs to put it on the board... A little "the program" treatment... have those boys carry footballs around and punish em if they lose it..lol...

The Loboes seem to relax when they get ahead sometimes, and the good teams have made it interesting when they do. This game seemed alot like the Mid Christian and Mid Greenwood games in which they got a big lead and then lost focus, took their foot off the gas, whatever you want to call it. They lost 3 turnovers themselves in this one.

I don't know what to say here. This gane with Littlefield was a tougher game than the score indicated. S'water was down 14-7 at the half. Littlefield was a very good team. I'm still somewhat shocked at how this game went. Coach jackson said at halftime that the boys must have been reading too many newspapers or reading too much off the internet (I suppose he was talking about the point spread everyone was giving Sweetater). At any rate, I hate to think any of us netters may have contributed to an alleged "big head" the Mustangs may have had, if indeed that's what Coach Jackson meant.
