With all the beer talk, it got me thinking. Which generic beer tastes most like it's name brand counterpart?

I got Keystone Light/Coors Light.

Coors and Keysone are my favorites but in similar tastes i would have to go with Bud/Natty.......i dont like either of them

It all tastes good to me but I prefer Busch.

Speaking of Beer. I remember going into the Lone Star Brewery in San Antone and drinking Lone Star fresh right off the tap. It was the best beer ever.

i think the Busch and the Buds tend to taste alike...they should...theyre basically the same beer.

after about 10 they all tend to taste close to the same.....crown and coke man myself....

coors light and keystone light. if i could find keystone light in longneck bottles i probably would not ever buy coors light again.

I don't even know if they do sell Keystone Light in bottles anymore. Last time I saw or bought any it was last year about this time. I got a 12 pack in short neck bottles, and man it was good.

Keystone cans is supposed to have a plastic coated inner layer that makes the beer taste closer to bottles. At least that's what the magical talking beer bottle told me the last time I drank Keystone.;)

The best tasting beer I ever had was at Beer school at Sea World in SA. Can you say free beer that was made that day? Wonderful stuff...

Yes, I do agree. The "Free" brand of beer is definitely the best.

big fan of keystone! but there is no replacing the original! and nothing beats shiner bock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i buy coors light. but my 2 favorite kinds of beer...............FREE AND COLD:)
