:wave: :wave: My 3 basketball teams have always been Duke, Indiana, and Texas. Now that Texas is winning it has torn my allegiances some...but Duke is still #1 for me!

/Awesome, glad that I"m not alone!! They kinda scared me during the first four minutes or so...Sheldon missed the EASIEST lay up...Melchionni couldn't put nothing down...but that all changed thank GOD!!!

I think Texas is going to take it all this year...but I shall cheer on my Devils to go as far as they can!

you don't have to live there or have close connections to like a team. how many fans does Notre Dame have that don't have any ties to them??

Is that like the "t-shirt fan" argument that A&M fans keep griping about when they know good and well that they, too, have "t-shirt fans."

If they really like that team, then cheer for them. Who cares. Life's too short not to do something that you enjoy. And if that involves cheering for a team that you just "like" then so be it.

And BTW, folks are prediciting a Texas-Duke matchup in the National Championship game. We'll see....

Duke, Wake Forest and UT have always been my team in NCAA basketball....Duke, UConn, and UT in womens...even growing up in CO.

I guess it's just a thang...maybe I've always dreamed of attending Duke?? Is that partial to 'the rule?' lol

I hate duke with a passion. I'll put my hatred for duke this way. In 2008 I will be rooting AGAINIST the US natl team in the olympics because Coach K is the coach.
