Sounds good to me. I think the Bulldogs win that game...lol. Being a Jasper fan/alumnus, I'm hoping to see this match-up become a reality in December. I'd give Everman the edge right now because their defense is better than ours at this point. We still seem to be vulnerable against the passing game, which could hurt us down the road if we don't shore it up...

I feel really sad for Carter-Riverside. And Im sure ole Amon Carter is turning over in his grave for his namesake school. I know both of their fans(i am not exaggerating by much) and they are good people and it must be tough on them and the students. I hope they can break their losing streak this year.

Carter once was a nice school..but I am gonna be real honest here...that school prolly needs to close and the kids from there go to either Haltom or North Side...they just can't compete in any sports except for boys basketball..in everything else they get totally embarrassed...the enrollment is still declining...in a couple of years it'll be less than 700..

You're right about Jasper's speed. They have one of the best track programs in Texas, regardless of classification, and a very high percentage of those guys play football. I don't know why they didn't put the spread in years ago. It's tailor made for a team with speed like the Dogs.

I would like to see Abilene Wylie and Gatesville. It would be a throw-back from the 2000 state championship. That was a good game regardless of the outcome

I'd like to see another matchup between the La Grange Leopards and La Vernia Bears. I think that last year in the playoffs we were greatly overmatched, however this year La Vernia is a lot better than people are giving them credit for. And it would be a great game to see, just like the meeting 2 years ago, down to the wire 1 point game.
