I received this from a friend.
Anyone identifying themself as an AT&T Service technician asking that they need your help to complete a test and they need you to do the following. Touch nine(9), zero(0), the pound sign (#), and then hang up.
HANG UP ON THEM AND DO NOT dial (9),zero(0), the pound sign #.
By pushing 90#, you give the requesting individual full access to your telephone line, which enables them to place long distance calls billed to your home phone number.
This scam has been originating from many local jails/prisons Please beware.
DO NOT press 90# for ANYONE.
