Whats some thoughts on this rematch? Where is the game taking place?

this will be a good game to watch.....i saw this game last year at SLC, is the game taking place at SLC again?

Decatur's been kinda quiet this year, but i look to them to be makin some noise in this matchup.

I really would like to see the Eagles win this one for District 7-3A, but I think Gainesville has too many players who may be playing on Saturdays for the Eagles to win this re-match. I can promise you however, that I have a lot of respect for the Eagles--they hung 66 on the Bulls and are a very solid football team. If the Eagles don't get intimidated, play up to their potential, and don't make any mistakes ---they may make this interesting. Gainesville is not a prohibitive favorite in this one by any stretch. They are going to have to beat a good football team for the second time. Gainesville by 7.

I think its gonna be a very tight game IF Decatur comes ready to play. I know that this game has been on the minds of a lot of players and they want to get back at them for blowout loss they recieved a while ago in Gainesville.
If Decatur can contain the QB this time maybe it will be a closer game. If they can close the gaps, then Franklin and co. wont get much ground game. I really hope Cobb wont try to run it to much against the D to early on because we will probably need a good pass attack late in the third if we get behind to much.

i'll predict Gainesville win's by more than 10. decatur wants revenge for this years game and gainesville still has unfinished business pertaining to last years games.

Gainesville will be and should be favored in this game. From what I saw when we played in September they have the better overall talent. With both teams best effort (with no strange bounces of the ball and no empty headed officiating), the Leopards win.
However, during the September game there was a point in both the second and third quarters where I thought that the Eagles had the momentum and had the Leopards a little frustrated. The Eagles are certainly capable of winning this in a close game.
I'm gonna vote with my heart and not my head, Eagles in a close one.

LOL good stuff.
Much like the first meeting. Gainesville by about 20. I'm sure Decatur is improved, but so is Gainesville. I don't think Decatur can stop Gainesville's two power runners.

Ok I have figured out my plan! If Decatur wins this one...then I am pretty sure that they will play Wylie in the next round, that is if Wyile doesnt get beat. And if Gainesville wins, then they will most likely play Wylie in which case I shall attend the Quarter final match up between who ever. So I will be able to say I attended at least one playoff game this year! Oh and I have a feeling the next game will be in Stephenville again so...ya know. Half way between Abilene and Decatur.

Well I guess I have the "outside opinion" here and will actually be at this game. I like Gainesville in this game but I think it will be a lot different from what we saw back in September. First off, Cobb has a lot more experience now than he did in September so that should factor into the equation. If they stick to their game plan and come out throwing and not trying to run aroud Gainesville's D Line then they have a chance.

Decatur does have a good ammount rooting for them in a close one but have only a few voting for a blow out. G-Ville has more voting there way in either a blow out or a close one.

This game will be interested it really matters if each team play to their potential but if i had to bet i would bet on the unbeaten Gainsville..

hello down low its been a year since i had anything to say, but the homer in me will have to say that this could be one of the best games of the playoffs.
just like everybody has said the eagles have to play there game of the year and i think they can.
but what if yhe lions think they have this one in the bag ( Decatur / A. Wiley ) last year.

Outplayed and totally dominated. Gainesville has come a long way from the first meeting.
P.S. Jlwzz you are right about being outcoached, man it was ugly. Gainesville can sure tackle, I think Decatur forgot how to tackle tonight.
