interesting to see how many schools that were once 4A are still in the 3A playoffs ::
Division I:
Canyon
Ganiesville
Kaufman
Tex. L-E
Carthage
Palestine
WO-S
W Columbia
Division II:
Monahans
Sweetwater
Iowa Park
Bonham (I think)
D Madison

Again that just proves that higher enrollment is a definate factor in Division I & Division II playoff ball.

  Well, since Marlin had 463 students the last alignment, it seems the theory is incorrect.

i don't think it "proves" anything ............. yes its "a factor", but not an automatic that higher enrollment schools will do better than lower enrollment schools
example Dallas Madison - one of 3As largest but they probably have less come out for football than Tatum, one of 3As smallest
