I heard if Hallettsville's starting qb would have played , Needville would have lost...can't make the grades, can't play football...Hallettsville had to re-group and I guess it cost them...I think LH wins by 21 points easy...hell they may score 60 again with those horses they got...:D

I'll be there and I put my bet on LH! I still can't forget that we beat Needville by about 40.

Well, You(Wharton ) might of beat them, but they are in the playoffs and you are not. So what does that say about Wharton?   :weeping: :weeping: :weeping:

Wasn't the same Wharton team that ended the season that started it....that's all....the replacement qb just didn't have the experience or size (couldn't see over the line) to get the job done...but he did his best and I believe that's all that is asked of anybody.

Good luck and best wishes to Needville....bring home the win for District 25aaa!

Boy, someone needs to send a "chill out" message...it's o.k., it really is o.k....because on the grand scale of things all of this is really so insignificant compared to the many other things that are going on all around us right now...

Liberty hill takes this one. I really didn't expect Halletsville to lose to needville so maybe they'll surprise me again idk, this is the playoffs baby!

What kind of offense does Needville run?

Do they run or pass more?

Looking for what to look out for. As you know LH runs the wingT to perfection, running 95% of the time.

Did I miss something? Sealy made the playoffs?

Other than the Wharton game Needville has looked pretty good all year. They happened to meet us when we were on a roll and we got up quick and stayed on top.

I don't know how good LH really is, so it is hard to say how this will come out. I think that the jays will fight hard and hopefully pull it out.

GO JAYS!!

Liberty Hill by at least 30. Needville is bad.

Nah, if Needville doesn't have a good/great offense there is no stopping LH...

True, if your defense isnt good enough you have to match them score for score.

Needville's bad??

Ok, you can say what you want but to call us "bad" is just ignorant. We're 8-3 and runner up in a tough district. LH is 9-2 so I wouldn't mail the Area Championship to them just yet. Cuero beat Hallettsville by 11 and we beat them by 10. I'd say we're pretty darn decent. But that's ok...you LH folks just keep thinking we're "bad".......we don't mind....

Oh, and LH doesn't run the wing t.....its the slot t and there's a difference. Needville runs the wing t.

Gobbla2001

Yah, but Cuero was short 8 starters (4 on both sides of the ball) and neither team had played a game for 2 weeks... talk about a sloppy game...

Glad to see you're back in the playoffs, Crow, maybe we'll see you guys soon...

Good Luck this week!!!

No one from LH said you're bad. We wouldn't claim Jody even if he were from here. ;)

Crow, I hope you guys win. But I think that you better start thawing your turkey out now. LH wins this one. However, all this is speculation. Thats why they play the game.   :weeping: :weeping: :weeping:

Liberty Hill becomes the HS version of Tech in this one (sans the OkieSt game) and throws up like 60 again

I saw Needville play Wharton during district, and Needville got creamed. I think the score was like 47-6. I have to go with Liberty Hill on this one, by a big margin.

Liberty Hill 42
Needville 13

Gettiing on this but let me say this about Needville. They have some size and have a really good tailback. Not to mention a cool PA for their home games. :D

needleville has a good defense...
and as far as stopping the slot t, I think they will do just fine...When you run a similar offense (wing t), it is easier to pick up on (the slot t) than an offense you only have 3-4 days to work on...

needville 21
LH 14

Good Luck Needville....

I figure if I am going to the game anyway I might as well hold the chain. Make 35$ and have the third best seat in the house.

Liberty Hill better watch out. There is an "Oklahoma State" lurking out there. A group of coaches that is putting together a game plan as we speak that shuts down the offense they run. Maybe it's Needville. I don't think so but then I would have never guessed Oklahoma State would shut down Tech. You never know.

Anyone have the scoop on Needville?

they were quite a surprise this year. im gonna pull for them to keep it close. no upset here. i think their offense is too one dimensional.

West Columbia, Wharton, and some little school that was good back in the 90's up around Frydek.

Everybody says our offense is too one dimensional......

that's funny considering we have thrown for over 1,000 yards and we have 14 td's to 3 ints...

Our qb who can't throw led the district with a 75% completion rate.....

After 10 games Needville threw for 881 yards, ran for over 2100. I don't know if that makes them one dimentional or not, just posting the season #s.
