Just got the last call from 99IHS. Ingleside played like crap the first half and Cotulla did a great job of taking advantage. The passing game worked for the Cowboys through the first two quarters, but the Mustangs pulled it together during the second half and pulled away. Pulled myself away from the Auburn game just long enough to post this.

congrats to Ingleside, even though you beat my alma mater :D

You will be playing the winner of the Rio Hondo / Orange Grove game.

Nope, last I heard it was 6-0 Rio Hondo at the half. I am fixing to watch the local news, I am hoping to get an update there.

My Summary on how the game went:

Cotulla came out strong. There QB ( I believe it was #7 G.R. Hoff) was firing his passes for large completions. When he wasn't throwing he was running for the first down. Ingleside tried to contain him but he would roll out of the pocket and run. He was good. They had recievers that were making critical catches for the first downs. Penalties were killing both teams especially Ingleside in the first half. It was pretty much going back and forth as fars as scoring during the first part of the game. Cotulla scored a touchdown with 9 seconds to go before the half to lead 27-20. That would be all that Cotulla would score. The coach made some adjustments after the half and the D started to shut them down. Ingleside did very good offensively in the second half of which they seemed non existent in the first half. They came out with the win and that is what we hoped for. Cotulla and there fans were classfull. Cotulla had a great season I am sure and they played there hearts out tonight. Congratulations Ingleside on the big W. Maybe tomorrow some stats can get posted.
