Have family on Coaching staff of Muleshoe and was curios if anybody had updates or know where I can check the score from time to time. Thanks

If Greenwood can't go on, Best wishes to Monahans as I am sure they are now watching to see what happens here.

well, due to a broke-down harvesting machine, I didn't make the game. so will post updates.
Muleshoe's opening drive sputtered out on the Ranger 40.
Rangers went 3 & out; punted clear to the Muleshoe 1 yard line.
Muleshoe has driven back to their own 25 and fumbled.
Perryton recovered. 1st and ten Mule 15

Thanks, Green Ranger. Been so focused and jacked for the Snyder game that I don't know anything about Muleshoe or Perryton, except what Da Mules is giving us currently. Running teams? What offense? Have they played any schools from our area?

Mule drive sputters; fake punt fails.
Mules hold Rangers 3 & out, and get ball back on Mule 15.
Rangers pretty much choking off Mules running game without Brady Black, but da Mules passing game working when lead-handed receivers can hang on; Mules have ball on Ranger 24 with 1:24 left in 2nd.
Muleshoe 24-yard passing touchdown; 14-14 with 1:08 left in the 1st half.

In case you guys care, you can listen to the game at http://www.kxdjradio.com/ if you can handle the Perryton side of a broadcast. Looks like Muleshoe has all the momentum going in to half time. Tied at 14.....and could have very well been 21-0 if the Rangers don't fumble at the 11.

14-14 at the half.

Perryton runs out of the spread wing and plays a 4-3 defense. Think Nebraska Cornhuskers; even have the same colors. They are fairly big, but a little slow this year. Always tough and proud of their defense.

Muleshoe plays the Spread I and plays a split-6 defense. Size on the O & D lines has been a problem against tough running teams with big linemen. Leading player RB/DB Brady Black broke his leg against Littlefield last week, and his absence is a big factor tonight. Mules had to move veteran QB Brant Hamilton to running back and sophomore QB Riley is playing tonight. He's doing a lot better in the 2nd quarter; got over the jitters, and started nailing the passes. We're still alive in this game.

not bad radio, RangerRed. his half-time recap was pretty fair; even mentioned Muleshoe's handicap without Brady.

Thanks for the rundown, Mule. Interesting point on the Mules' undersized linemen. FYI, Monahans O tackles are 320 and 300 pounds.
