From The Facts article:

"Gonzales suffered a crucial setback on Columbia’s first drive when linebacker and place kicker Francisco Cortez left with an injured leg."

You know, it probably HELPED Gonzales that they went for it on 4th each time, as it kept Columbia's offense pinned deep on their own end of the field. All Gonzo had to do was wait for a fumble, or botched punt, and bingo, they were back in business on our end of the field again! It cost me four fingernails though. I barely have enough left for next week!
