I haven't checked the website in a few days and I was checking out the new threads...and to my suprise, there was a thread saying that Bellville had won the JV football district title...not even close.
The Columbus JV went 7-3 on the season and 5-0 in district...meaning they would have had to beat Bellville, which they did 21-14, and captured the district title.
Congratulations Cardinal JV!

c town fan, you are correct, Columbus did win the j.v. district title. But you are wrong when you say it was "not even close". Didn't you guys beat Bellville on a last second TD pass?
Also, having 13 sophomores on the Varsity probably has a lot to do with that. Having Clayton Chaney, Marshall Crawford, and Byron Abbs probably would have helped Bellville's j.v. just a little bit, to say the least. Even then they finished 7-3.

All 3 of Columbias teams were undefeated in district.
Overall 23-2-1
pancho, bellville's 7th and 8th grades lost 1 game combined on the year, and both went undefeated in district as well.
