He is a BB and wants to go BB. You want him to be an "extra" for the playoffs. Do you let him go to BB practice and start getting ready?

This kid will never do anything for you in the FB playoffs and may not be a good BB. Do you let him move on. ?

You let the kid make the decision...

The kid was committed to playing football for your freshmen/JV team... you're asking him to work overtime now... it's his decision if he wants to make the extra cash or clock out and go on with his plans...

I agree. I think it should be up to the kid to decide. Besides, a Freshman or JV football player, unless they are just a true athletic specimen would not even be able to help during practice. Thye are not physically mature enough yet handle varsity level athlete's. In fact, I think it hurts teams to have their JV be tackling dummies for playoff practices.
