I would say Tee Martin got the benefit of a better defense. That year they beat Florida 20-17 in OT..In Peyton's years as a Vol they never held Florida to less than 33.

nah i think that peyton was a good qb in college i just think that tee was the better qb there at tenn, however with that being said, peyton has flourished in the NFL extremely...

it's kind of like comparing james brown to vince young....

Again I ask how was Tee a better college QB? He won a national champ because he had a better team around him. The defense in 98 might be the best defense Tennesse has had. Peyton never had that type of D while playing especially against Florida
