needville is pretty good.

dont know much about halletsville.

Needville will play good defense, and take the air out of the football with long time consuming drives.

actually, the mute point is the stafford player...

not an issue...

Needville is the 2nd best team in district 25AAA and they will play Halletsville

Hallettsville doesn't get a lot of attention, but this is the same team that made it four deep last year. Don't know much about Needville, but I had picked Hallettsville to win this one.

Needville sounds tough... I'll go with them just on a hunch...

Hallettsville will put up a fight, though... I say it goes down to the wire...

They have a really tough defense for the most part, and are the trick-play kings round these here parts...

I went to the Columbia vs. Needville game and even though we sat Flannel out, I was real impressed with Needville's team. They had zero turnovers and they played well on defense. Once again though they dont have any playmakers. There playoff game against Halletsville should be a grind it out kind of game. If the bluejays score 2 or 3 touchdowns they should win. All I know about Halletsville is when I ask somebody where ther deer lease is they say Halletsville. Good luck to both teams.

I believe that Tim Edwards, 5A coach of the year in 1977 at Copperas Cove, then longtime very successful coach at Hurst LD Bell, then for a short spell at Huntsville, was the head coach at Hallettsville before going to Cove. Is my memory accurate?
