don't overlook them Apaches, they can scalp you in a hurry...they have a pretty good receiver, but I think the Necks can handle them...
the Necks advance to the next round...

I'll probably be at this game, are the Necks the HOME team...

I can't believe that I spelled Roughnecks wrong in the poll and the program will not let me edit it!

Oh, well

Roughnecks by 2-3 tds way to much talent on both sides of the ball.

I'd like to see the apaches put up a fight, but the Roughnecks should win this one by a TD or 2.

im taking WC by around 3 tds, but keep ur eye on gonzalez's RB #19, or whatever number he is. he is a workhorse. i got a first hand look at him vs cuero and he looks like a solid back.

I am really quite curious to see how well we match up with Gonzales. It seems our only weak spot was the secondary. After Jonathan Lister left town, the defensive backs have done real well. No one has ran the ball on us except for the mighty, mighty Palacios. I seriously doubt that Gonzales will stop our offense and to make things worse for the Apache defense, were playing on turf. I am going to say Columbia wins by 20 points in a fast paced game.

I'll base my prediction on seeing WC play last year and seeing Gonzales play this year...

I think Gonzales can hang for a qt or two, I seriously do...

However, I feel the necks will get necked in the 2nd half and there will be nothing on their sideline but smiles the rest of the game...

I hope that what Cuero thinks of Columbia is based on the last 3 quarters of last years playoff game and not the first five minutes. We beat the gobblers in baseball and basketball last year but not the dang football game. I would like to see Cuero on all of our sports schedules more often. I think it could become a friendly rivalry. And for the record I think Cuero would have killed Sinton this year in football. I am glad that Columbia and Cuero dont have to play in the first round again but it sure would have been an interesting game to watch.

I really like the West Columbia program... respect their posters, their players and their coaches... their fans were very good last year as well, no quit in that team either...

Gunna be hard for me to pick between Columbia and Sinton if it comes down to it, but you can damn sure bet I'll be hoping y'all kill Wimberly in round 2...

A Tip for Columbia: Beat Wimberly by atLEAST 14 points or you'll have to read them whining for a year about how they 'should' have won the game...

Yeah, I stumbled across their stomping grounds, and I'm glad they haven't infested this site. Did the Cuero & Liberty Hill posters get together and erect some kind of cloaking device to hide this site from them? :D

Last year, there were 2-3 that showed up for the LH/Wimberley game and again for the Cuero/Wimberley playoff game. I was kind of sad/happy that one in particular never made it this year.

It'll be Columbia by a lot. I'm hoping Gonzales can hang in there? But I don't think so?

well i will say that gozo has a pretty good RB who will get the ball at least 30 times. i think the only way gonzo wins is by praying for WC turnovers.

columbia 31- gonzales 14 is my prediction. columbia has a very good team . gonzales will hang for a while but in the end the better team will win. we have played columbia in football, basketball and baseball in the last year and i am impressed with there overall sports program. class coaching staff that is doing the right things.

I think $6 across the state for 1st round, and if I remember they just keep going up $2 every round :( or it depends on the stadium. I think I paid $10 to watch Cuero/Wimberely last year in Seguin
