I guess well get this started. Barbers Hill Vs. Hardin Jefferson. HJ has suffurred some huge losses to the hands of BC and WOS. BH is rolling at 9-0. These two teams used to be in district and have had battles in the past. HJ would love to upset the Hill. Whatcha think:D

From what I saw in the last 5 minutes of the Hj vs HF game, it's going to get ugly quick. Other than a decent running back, not sure they have much to offer. Defense looked very weak. I would say maybe they had their back-ups in for a safe play, but sure did not seem like they had any depth either.

Looks about right trooper. Heck we even put it on HJ pretty good. Sucks that it's not us playing BH. Rita really hurt us, we were playing good before the storm and when we played HF we were not even back in school yet. If we would not have had the storm I really think we would have finished 3rd in the district. Now I don't think we would beat BH, but we would give them a better game than HJ. Dang Rita!

This game could get really ugly. Barbers Hill is poised to make a deep run into the playoffs and it gets started right here. District 23 will show how overated district 24 is and I believe BH and Cleveland both will win their games. WOS better bring a better defense than it showed against Bridge City or it'll be a clean sweep like last year.

BH by 35+. I won't say BH will score 50 on them, because we only scored 50 on one other team. But I do see BH defense shutting down HJ's offense, and winning maybe 42-6.

Even though HJ is the third-place team in the district, they lost games to the top two teams by a combined score of 123-33. There's a big dropoff from #2 to #3.

WOS better bring a better defense than it showed against Bridge City?........WOS is going to crush Huffman this year. Bridge City is extremely strong also. Cleveland will also take it on the chin. With that here is my prediction on all 3 games

Bridge City 28
Cleveland 7

BH 60
HJ 13

I guess we will see. Bridge City will run over Cleveland, just like they ran over Liberty earlier in the year. It really won't even be close on this one. I don't even factor these guys in the mix. The only game your district will see any type of big win is BH over HJ. Other than that the other two will get routed.

Thats right, we got down to the one with just a few seconds left and had a 15 yard penalty, we then tried a field goal and missed it. I really think we were the third best team in this district.

HJ 13 Good prediction. I think BC wins as well. Our Defense played well yesterday against BC, PantherP. In fact, BC only had 100 or less yards rushing. Armond had 17 total yards. The Hail Mary that hit the ground as time was expiring before half gave them some life.

Good gosh how wrong ya'll are. Cleveland and Huffman are about to find out why both these teams are ranked.

The Hail Mary was big because they got a score and then the second half kickoff without ever putting the ball in WO-S's hands. Then WO-S fumbled on the ensuing drive and they scored again. BC got three drives to WO-S's one, and WO-S made a mistake on that one. The Hail Mary, the halfback pass and the short field helped BC gain momentum and almost catch up. Kicking it to Beasley blew the whole deal, and they again couldn't stop the Mustangs for the rest of the game. BC showed a lot of heart, but didn't really "take it to" WO-S, at least on defense. BC has a great team, but WO-S is the better team this year. Of course, I think BC will take it to Cleveland next week.

Everybody thought yalls district would walk right over ours last year so I wouldn't say it is crazy in any way to say that Cleveland might win over BC. Its not like I am saying they are going to blow yall out. I think its going to be a close game that Cleveland will win.

I do agree....all the what if's about that game....what if BC didn't have a touchdown right before half.....what if Beasley wouldn't have ran that score back.......doesn't matter....you guys won. However, I do think ya'll take it to Huffman and get the revenge you guys have been after for a year now. I think the WOS game validates any weaknesses by BC and they will route Cleveland.

I have to disagree with all three counts. District 23 IMHO is better from top to bottom than District 24. I won't argue the fact just wait untill the out come. I do agree with who wins and losses in your picks, but here is my disagreements.

1.) No way WOS blows Huffman out by 43 I would say half of that.

2.) CLeveland will score more than 7 while BC scores a little more.

3.) BH will not score 60 points the coaches have to much class.

Of course either way is the same result. Don't fall victom to the WOS Hysteria. WOS is good ,but will fail to live up to their Hype. Remember you heard it first here. I hope they prove my wrong because I hate when I'm right all of the time.:D

This is my logic behind my predictions. WOS has got to be feeling good going into this game being undefeated and having won the district title over BC. WOS remembers what happened last year and with Beasley at the top of his game I think Huffman is in for a long night.

BC for the first time was run on by a tough WOS. I think they tighten up their shot group this week and go back to shutting opponents down. Their is no Beasley's on Clevelands team.

The 3rd is really based off of what two really good teams did to this HJ team. WOS beat them 68-13 and BC beat them 55-20. They didn't try to run it up either.......it's just that those type of teams are too much for them to handle. BH is definently IMO in the same type of class as a WOS or BC team. I think they are more aligned with a BC team and maybe slightly better. That's why I put 60. They have tons of weapons they can throw at you.

Even if we beat HJ by four or more touchdowns, we WILL have problems next week. We ALWAYS have problems when we face east Texas teams. Its like our coaches tighten up when we play someone faster than us.

We had problems with Splendora because they put eight in the box and kept pressure on our QB. The coaches never adjusted.

Kirbyville blitzed us into submission last year. Them and Crockett will storm the fort on every down. We better be ready for it.

We'll be ready for it. This is a new year and a new team. Just sit back and enjoy the ride!
