I was catching bits and pieces of this game inbetween other things and heard the announcers mention Jordan Shipley's name as being in on a punt return. Apparently he got into this game today.

No, he didn't.

That was Cedric Griffin. They both wear the same number and from what I heard, the announcers screwed it up, along with calling Henry Melton, Henry SHELTON.

Fox is so dumb. I don't know how they keep broadcasting sports.

By the way ESPN College Gameday was talking this morning, it doesn't matter what VT or Alabama does the rest of the way. It seems that if UT wins out they will be in the Rose Bowl.......but just in case, GO CAINES!!!

I noticed that on the Texas Longhorns web sight that there are a few other players that share the same number. I can see how the sports announcers could get the players names wrong.

I know at Texas,they allow them to wear the same numbers. Just as long as they play on different sides of the ball. For example,#8 Jordan Shipley,WR, #8 Cedric Griffin,CB.

It's an NCAA rule I believe. If you have so many players that you have to double up numbers, then it's cool as long as they play on the opposite sides of the ball.

I think we have two or three like that.

very bad game by the bears, we looked like we fell back to our old form 2 years ago...i expected us to lose but the defense we had been playing all year was torn up by the horns...we looked as if we gave up at teh end of the 2nd quarter...oh well, hopefully that is the only blowout we play in this year unless if it goes the other way around in our next 2 games...

Mizzou looked horrible and Okie State is just as bad.

They already have. Where have you been?

IMO, it was a mistake buring Daniel's redshirt. And when we went to Mizzou, half the Mizzou fans were saying the samething.

A good win for Texas but we must remember that it was close for a while there. At the end of the first quarter Texas only had them 6 to 0.
