Best high school football game ever

What is the best high school football game you have ever watched?


I have seen a lot of good high school football games but the best ever was the 2004 Liberty vs. BH game....it was a great game.

Being from Snyder I would have to say it was the playoff game against Sweetwater last year. I know if it had worked out the other way I would probably wouldn't think so. With so much on the line and meeting your district rivals that deep in the playoffs and it being a one point game, it is the best game I ever saw.

Wish I could have seen the D2 championship game last year, I bet that was a good one to watch.

hutto beating thorndale after losing to them 40+ years. 14-7 in the rain. Which also clinched a playoff spot for hutto when we were in 2a.

1999 Baytown Sterling (perennial loser) upsets nationally ranked number 3 i believe Katy (number 1 in Texas at the time) in Katy, Texas on their homecoming to break Katy's 35 game regular season win streak....Sterling took a 21-7 lead in at halftime and held on for dear life to win 28-25, one of the most shocking upsets i have EVER seen...

2001 (i think?) Vince Young led Houston Memorial defeats Galena Park Northshore in the playoffs when Young completes a ridiculously long bomb after scrambling around almost the entire North Shore defense w/ little time remaining in the 4th for the game winning TD....it mightve been w/ time expiring but i cant remember that well....

there r more but those 2 come to mind....

One of the better ones I've seen in recently years was a playoff game between Bellville and Marlin played in Bryan. Not sure the exact year, but I believe it went into double OT. Good game, back and forth.

last year at Texas Sta., the game between SLC & Abilene was a classic ... SLC won 35-31 (or something like that), very big crowd as you can SEE

of course last year's game at Baylor between Wylie & Cuero was a good one ... not an all-timer but certainly a good one

well you always have to think of the john tyler plano east game in 94 at texas stadium..last ngiht trinity and mac was a good game

The view/feel in the press box was like nothing that I've ever experienced, and I managed not to be too much of a homer on the call.

Does anyone have pics similar to 3afan's from that game? It's not as impressive to fill up Homer Bryce as it is to go second deck at Texas Stadium, but it was ridiculously full that night.
