if you are going to that game, message back and say which team you're going for.
I'm going and gonna be on the hippo side. Also, to the cameron fans, there is a visitor parking lot, on the visitor side of the stadium. If you park on the homeside, you will be stuck in a whole lot of traffic

Hey Hutex04 tell the yoe fans the name and location of the street that you can turn on whithout going to the Home Depot turnoff. I used it on the way out and it sure saved time and traffic.

Good luck to both teams.....

cameron yoe, if you are coming from cameron. The first light in hutto, you take a left. go over the railroad tracks and you take a right, and go down front street. That road takes you directly to the visitor parking lot. Safe travels :)

Off of Hwy. 79 coming from Taylor. Yes,the very first street, once you cross over the railroad tracks is called Front Street. Just don't speed, the Hutto City Hall/Police Department is just down the road. :D

Yeah, so did I. But didn't Hutto also beat Yoe last year? Anyway, it won't make any difference for Yoe in the playoffs will it?

Yes, you are correct. Yoe wins 17-13.

No, I don't think the Yoemen are looking past anybody in order to play Jasper. I'm sure they want the rematch.

J-Dog, speaking of last years game between Jasper and Yoe, what did you think of the game? Looking forward to a rematch? I think it would be a great game.

I would love to see it! :) It would mean that both teams will be doing well! :) But as for Jasper, we have to try to take care of a very good Rusk team next week.

Thanks. But actually, he is probably an even better passer. But yes, he can run.

I was at the game. Cameron won 17-13. Hutto's offense earned them THREE points all game. Their first & only TD came on a kickoff return after our first score. Their first field goal came off of a setup by an interception to our 25. They moved the ball about 10 yards, stalled and had to settle for 3. The only drive they worked for was another FG in 3rd quarter (possibly early 4th) Was a good game but very questionable calls. At first everything seemed to be called fairly but of the 3 penalties Cameron had, two of those were for long touchdown runs. Go figure. In the end, Cameron got the final touchdown and our defense took care of business as they did all game. Oh and another note of interest, Brian Scott (our superstar QB) was injured yet again in 1st quarter. His backup #7 Cordrick Mobley led us to victory yet again. Great job Yoemen! This is the first time since 97 that we've gone undefeated in district and it's in the only 8 team district in the state! As for being 10-0, I don't even know when that happened last! Can't wait for next week and good luck to Giddings & Hutto as well!

You forgot to mention that Cameron had GREAT field position most of the game. Their 1st TD drive started on the 50 yard line. Next 2 possessions started on the Hutto 27 and 35 respectively and ended up with no points. And didn't really do much until the end. Their winning TD drive started at the Hutto 38 after a good punt return. Hutto had a TD called back as well and a potential TD pass dropped. Cameron had 240 total yards and Hutto had 289. Hutto had the game won but got outcoached at the end. Up by 3 and the ball. 5 minutes left and they decide to start throw the ball. Why not run the ball and kill the clock?? All in all both defenses played great. Props to the Yoe they won it. Good luck to all District 19-3A teams.

horrible officiating at this game. More than just one call too. I thought the cameron coach was going to have a heartattack. Cameron has the talent (#5) to go deep (like every play) in the playoffs. Hutto never could get on track but looked very outmatched on the field. Hell of a game by Cameron's Defense as well.

hutto had that game won, i would not say they were outmatched at all. Cameron played better in the 2nd half. Hutto lost some oppertunites. Lots of droped balls in the 1st half. Could of would have should have. It's sad but the better team won. Good luck to all of the 19 3a teams.

Looked like pretty evenly matched teams to me. Either team could have won. Hutto had several passes dropped at critical times.
