Liberty is a tough squad they beat top 10 BH once this year forcing a playoff game. Good Luck

You Also have to get past Bellville in R3, also I would have to think Bellville volleyball would rank at the top of all classifacations in winning % also have won or shared the district title since 83, not to mention winning state 7 or 8 times, not sure.

Bridge City plays Palestine at The Woodlands at 7:00 pm this Thursday night....I just want to comment that the town of Tarkington had a huge crowd at Lee College last night. BC beat a very determined team with a very large and enthuastic group of fans.
Has the crowds been good at some of the other matches across Region III?

Bridge City Volleyball beats #13 Palestine tonight. The four Sophomores looked good in the playoffs under pressure. Round #3 coming up--probably Barbers Hill and they are the best around.
I would rank the state top five as: #1 Barbers Hill #2 Canyon #3 Bellville #4 Silsbee #5 Liberty or Monahans

OC-Thanks for the props, but I would have to say Monohans is still the #1 team in the state. I beleive they lost only one senior from their state championship team from last year.

Hamshire-Fannett beat Buna in three last night (23-12, 25-23, 25-16) Next they run into a whirlwind called Silsbee and will be a big underdog entering this game. BC gets BH and H-F gets Silsbee and that probably will eliminate 24-3A from further bracket play. If they were in other areas they would still be advancing I am quite sure.

I agree that Bellville is a future obstacle in Region III. But at this time these teams being discussed are eliminating each other on our side of the bracket...LOL

Silsbee defeated Liberty last night 3-0, 25-19, 25-16, 26-24. They will play H-F next Tuesday night at a site yet to be determined. Silsbee played well the first 2 games, but were down 16-4 in the third before pulling it out 26-24.

Bellville beat Gatesville in 3 Thurs. night. They play next Tues. at Bryan High. Winner of Cameron-Groesbeck. What a region!!!

Oh..maybe it was a couple years ago..or maybe I am clueless he he. I met the team at a Jasper football one of those years and they were extremely nice young ladies.

Bridge City has 4 Sophomores and only two Seniors. Don't think they are ready to challenge BH this year. It is a great experience to go 3 rounds however and maybe they can make it a ballgame against a premium team like BH Tuesday anyway.
