I might go up there to see this one at Lufkin. I have a Treefarm/Retreat within 40 minutes, near Palestine. I look for Palestine to smoke Silsbee this year. Thusfar, Silsbee's District has not been recognized at the strongest around.
I saw a good 2A game while taking refuge up there from RITA, it was Kerns vs Alto and Kerns(NW of Palestine, I think) won the contest. I would say that Newton will win over either and smoke Celina this year for the 2A Title.

I hope Silsbee wins, but I don't think they will. What does the strength of their district have to do with the outcome of the game?

Yea...it doesn't compare to what BC has faced......the 128th, 109th, 123rd, and 85th ranked teams in 3a according to Texas Football Ratings. Better strap it up this week!!!
