Sinton plays Hondo tonight in Volleyball playoffs

I can't make the game :( but those that can please go support the Lady Pirates. And please call Pirate4State with the final results so she can post it on 3A Downlow. The game is in Poth starting at 7:30 P.M. We may have a little bit of home field advantage since it is the Poth Pirates. :)

My alma mater Freer had several great matches with Poth in the early to mid 90s. I think the first year was 1992 and Freer beat Poth and went on to win the State Championship in volleyball. The girls met again in playoffs for three straight years and Poth won all three in very close matches. Poth went on the win state in two of those years and were runnerups the last year. It was thought by many that those games were really the matches that decided the state champions in volleyball.
