Orangefield's Jeremy Shoemaker puts a lick on a WOS receiver, but the receiver held on to the ball. Good game yesterday Bobcats.

Man he paid for that catch didn't he Cat? But coaches tell the receivers they are going to give you a good hit anyway so you might as well catch the ball.

Wow! Might want to buckle all four snaps on the chin-strap next time.

I do like the afternoon games. The weather was cool yesterday a perfect day for football. Ofcourse we are having to play afternoon games due to Hurricane Rita messing up our lights.

Good pic -- great hit and a great catch.

Funny you mention that... The same player lost his helmet when he made a big hit on the OF RB later in the game.

Great hit and a great catch, both teams really came out hitting yesterday. West Orange-Stark had several big hits in the game and Orangefield's Arceneaux had a pretty big hit on Beasley as well.

OF needs to win this week and keep their fingers crossed that the HJ-HF game goes their way... I know it's a real longshot, but I'm still hopeful you all can get in the playoffs.

They were trading them all day. Beasley knocked down Arceneaux on his (Beasley's) way across the goal line.

Yeah, there were hard hits all day. Someone even got a good lick on me near the concession stand, but I managed to hold on to my funnel cake and drink (and I didn't spill a drop of my Coke). :D

Well, I'm glad he didn't spill Coke on you. ;)

:D gs#17 was holding on for dear life. He didn't want to lose that funnel cake. The hit Beasley put on heading into the endzone was quite a lick as well as crimestick was saying.

I'm hopeful too on the playoffs, that would be great for our kids and program. I'll definetly have my fingers crossed waiting to see the outcome in that game. Orange County sweep would be a great thing.

It was like a prize fight yesterday. Both teams traded licks all day, and they were all good plays. WOS players had several big hits after Beasley would cut back in the other direction. Some of our kids didn't see those coming. Also our big DE Camp, caught Beasley on his blind side for a big hit on a sack.

Great game yesterday. I really didn't know what to expect. Especially after all the points the Stangs have been putting on teams all year, and after what they did to us last year. I'm just real proud of our kids. Some people on this board might think I'm crazy cause I keep saying it was a great game (35-6), but it was 14-6 midway thru the 3rd qtr. Good Luck Stangs on the remainder of your season and next week against those Cardinals.

Now that is a BIG Time hit, but at the same time what a catch!!! What was the score of the game?

Unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky when I got to the stands. The hits were coming from every angle... Although I lost the funnel cake, fortunately, I was okay, despite taking a pretty nasty fall down the bleachers -- KOGT was there to take a pic of the event.
