Does anyone remember the made for TV movie in the early '80s about a female HS quarterback? I dont' remember much, except that Helen Hunt played the QB. One of the best lines in the movie was when the center tells her "I'm proud to have had your hands between my legs." I remember asking my dad (a former AD) what that meant, and he told me to ask my mother and then walked out of the room. Aaahh, television...

You are right because it was the 1983 tv movie called Quarterback Princess. It was based on a true story about a girl that was qb for her team and won a big game for her team and was also elected homecoming princess. Don Murray who also starred in many good movies played her alcoholic father.
