Bridge City led 31 to 0 at halftime, and used subs all the second half. Final was BC 38 HF 0 . They actually started 3 JV players in this game. Great win for the Cardinals. Now we can finally get down to business
WEST ORANGE STARK VS BRIDGE CITY NOV 5TH!

Bust them out.... but I believe I'm right. BC has been 6-1-0 after 7 games seven different years ('65,'66,'68,'75,'77,'01 and '02), but only hit 7-0-0 in 1973 and again today.

They lost to PNG 6-14 in the 2nd game of the 1965 season

Not sure where those were referenced from but I've got a hard copy of a newspaper from 9/25/65 in front of me showing Port Neches winning 14-6

Either way... congrats on your first 7-0 record since 1973....

;)

Laugh all you want but it's true... I take my HS football history pretty seriously and when I quote a stat I make sure I have something to back it up. If you don't believe me check out the work I've done already....
