WO-S will be without the service of RB Earl Thomas due to a sore ankle. He could play but we are saving him for the hill-billys.

Looks like those scrappy Bobcats are giving WOS fits. WOS is loaded though this thing may open up, but they are actually in a fight.

I was expecting for this thing to open up a little, but it looked like Orangefield stayed in their until about the middle of the 3rd quarter.

I tell you what, those kids always play their hearts out over there no matter how their season is going. Thats the one thing I like about OField.

Im guessing we played many subs(not to insult OF) just wondering:thinking:

I don't think in this one they would have started subbing until the 4th. I know they were pretty much in a fight through the middle of the 3rd quarter.

Oh hey chaingang.......your mailbox is full also. Cant PM you.

We didn't play well today at all. I knew when we got there and all the players kept talking about was BC we were going to play bad. Not having our #1 back hurt as well.

I can't blame them for having Bridge City on their mind, it should be a really good game. I think we got our wake up call last week in the 28-10 win over anahuac. The BC/WOS matchup should be a great game. That should be standing room only in that place for those two teams. It's too bad we both couldn't play earlier and decide this thing. I am more worried about getting key folks hurt on either team as we both go into the playoffs.

Hey my Bobcats came to play today. 14-0 at halftime and we take the second half kickoff and drive to score. 14-6 midway through the 3rd, after that WOS just had too many athletes for us. I'm proud of my guys though, they played there butts off. Good Game Bobcats, keep it up against Anahuac next week. We're not out of this yet.

I tell you I am proud of your guys as well. They definently gave WOS fits today. That is super for your program over there.

Cats did play good. Good luck next week. I hate games like today though. I was so mad when i was at the locker room and all our players were talking about the BC game next week. I told them we have a game today with OF first.

OF played with a lot of heart and they have improved a lot from last year; WOS played sloppy for the most part (on offense and defense), but made some plays when it counted.

Anyway, here is the box score from the Enterprise:

1st Quarter 2nd Quarter 3rd Quarter 4th Quarter Final
West Orange-Stark 6 8 6 15 35

Great game today...I loved the afternoon atmosphere. Reminded me of a playoff game. It was a fun game to watch as a fan. Great job Cats, you played your tails off today. Good luck to the Stangs and Cardinals next week and in the playoffs. I can't wait till Saturday....should be a good one.

Stangs also fumbled the ball away at the goal line for an Orangefield touchback. WO-S had 399 yards to 132 for OF. It was not a flashy win, but a fairly solid one. Anytime you win by 29 and outgain by 267 and it's a "sloppy game," it's a compliment - no matter who you're up against. Good game by both teams.
