This has all the makings to be a barnburner for the D-20 title. Both teams are having great years,Bellville ranked in the Top 10 in most polls and has played a very difficult schedule and was seconds away from being undeated. Rice picked by most to finish 4th in district has played very well for a young team and are not ranked. Here are the stats for both teams for everyones info.

Bellville Brahmas 8-1 (4-0)
Offense 356 yds/game 34pts
Defense 298 yds/game(8 games) 14pts

Rice Raiders 8-0 (4-0)
Offense 362 yds/game 34pts
Defense 226 yds/game 17pts

It should be a close game, but I'll take the Bulls at the Pasture every time. As long as there are no injuries, everyone wins, in my book! Go Brahmas, kick it up a notch! Mistake-free ball this week!

I believe the coaches were scouting a game or something and they had a cooler of beer in the truck. They went down to the suburban at the half and something with the cops hanging on the suburban and the driver trying to throw the cops off. I'm a little sketchy about the subject, but it goes something along those lines.

You need to get over the lost game and stop showing how imature you are. Coach Dumont is a very good coach and has won with this team that was not suppose to win. He has my utmost respect along with all of our players and fans. I would never ever say that a person has no class it just not right. I have respect for all teams, coaches and fans in our district. I will always defend my team,school and family when they are spoken of badly. So you posters that are showing all the hate on her need to grow up and get over the lose or what ever is bothering you. I will not talk on this subject anymore and waste anymore of my time. I'm ready for Friday and then the Playoffs. GO RAIDERS

The Brahmas will win Friday night, because of the coaching staff. I talked to Coach Chancellor at the beginning of the year and he didn't think Rice had anything this year. But when I spoke with him before the start of district play, he said he was wrong and that it looked like the two teams would slug it out for the district title.They are similar in alot of ways. I think Bellville has a better line than Rice. Who knows, I thought the Astros wouldn't even make the playoffs!!! Bellville -32 Rice -26. GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!

I wish diesel was that cheap. But back on the game, I think rice is going to have a problem handling bellville's running game. Rice doesn't have to worry about bellville's air attack cuz they don't have one. Watch out for cooper and harris to break a few between the tackles. Bellville needs to watch out for cook. He is a threat through the air. But when he needs to he can tuck the ball and take off for a good run or two. I believe this one might come down to special teams. Bellville has a much better kicker than rice. I say bellville by 9.

Yea they're pretty large. But a quick defensive line can get past them. There not real tall, just fat.

Evans and Boson are fast but if Rice can get inside their head then you can kiss those two goodbye.

They couldn't get to Navasota's qb and did not stop the running game.
