Bridgeport 58 - Lake Worth 56 4th Overtime

From what I am reading from other sites: score was 14 - 7 at half...I guess 4 overtimes will do it.

It was 21-20 Bridgeport with less than 1:30 to go... Bridgeport's Colin Jones scampered down the field and scored... too early? Lake Worth came back after a returning the kickoff to midfield. They marched down the field and scored with 0 on the clock to make it 26-28... Then make the 2 pt conv and we go to OT... 4 of them.

Crazy game. Shame that both didn't get a W from it.

Wow! Does anyone have fingernails left after this? :eek: Congrats to both teams.

Nope... more like, 11:30.

It was under 8:00 left in the game when it was 9:30 pm.

The crazy part was how low key the game seemed up until the last 1:30... Both teams were stopping each other, both offenses making some boo-boos... then BAM! You had more points scored in OT then in Regulation... CRAZY.

They craziest part of all is that Bridgeport got the ball with under a 1:30, at mid field, LW has just 2 TOs and Bridgeport has a 21-20 lead. All we have to do is just make a first down or two and run the clock out... Right? Nope. Colin Jones rattles off a great little off tackle run and scores... We go nuts... But just before we kick the ball we begin thinking.... over a minute and two timeouts? Oh no... too much time. Sure enough....

And again... I cannot say enough about LW. It is a shame that all they will get is a pat on the back after this one. They deserve a lot more!

Good thoughts as usual, Slpy. I posted up on 3AFan's thread about this game. All I can say is, I finally figured out what class team the Bulls really are------arena 6-man!
