Just for grins, I decided to average the enrollment number across the board in 3A. If the largest school last year was Elgin with 897 students, and the smallest school was Celina with 347 students, then the MEDIAN enrollment comes to 622.

Guess what I did next?

I looked at all 32 district winners and their enrollment size. I put all schools with enrollment over 622 in one column, and all of the schools with enrollment under 622 in another column.

Anybody want to guess how many were in each of the columns.

Thats right sports fans.

There were 16 schools in the "large" column, and 16 schools in the "small" column.

Imagine That. :p

Damn, that is ironic.
I wonder how that figure would look five or ten years ago? If the figure moves very much on avg. enrollment.
