it will be a good game but I am going to have to go with WO-S. I think that the overall balance of the stangs will stand out. Plus I am old and I can say what I want.;)

I am somewhat younger and a rebel so I will disagree. I think WOS is the favorite in this, but I think Bridge City takes them out this year. WOS barely escaped last year.

What hurt us last year at the end of the season was the Defense. It's much better this year as well. Everyone has their predictions, we'll see.

So, let me see if I'm following both sides...

BC is much improved from 2004 and barely lost to WOS last year, so the Cards should win; on the other hand, WOS is much improved from 2004 and barely beat BC, so the Stangs should win. BC has a good defense and an explosive offense with some fast athletes; WOS has a good defense and an explosive offense with some fast athletes.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that despite all those differences between the teams ( ;) ;) ), it should be a good game.

That's good.....lol. I do agree with you though, I think it's going to be a good game. Whoever makes the dumb mistake and it may only be one, will lose.

BC had better be worrying about HF. They are also a team that is much improved from last year. Over look them, and we will not be talking about BC being undefeated anymore.;)

It should definitely be an interesting game but the history favors WO-S big time (BC has never beaten us and 1996 and 2004 were the only games that were even close). No doubt, this BC squad has the best record and arguably could be the toughest we've played in our 15 game history, and rivalry games are always a bit more unpredictable than others so who knows what may happen... Good luck to both teams!

I wish you would...:D. We would both be a lot less banged up going into the playoffs. I really wish this game was this week instead of the last, but, beig the last week will make it like the playoffs starting a week early.

Most WO-S fans are not quite as confident as wosfan1, but other than chaingang, no one ever is. Those 2 think we'll win every time we step on the field.;)

Don't think we are going to have to worry about this one.....it's only the 2nd quarter, but I think HF forgot one thing on the ride over to Bridge City. I think they forgot there was a football game to be played today.........Bridge City 31 HF 0 1:24 left in the 2nd Quarter

I think that is realistic. I do think WOS should be about a 7 point favorite. Man after the shalacking HF is taking this game WOS/BC matchup should be a barn burner. Two powerhouses going at it.

I think opposite, I think defense will win this one. You know both of us will be playing conservative.

I do agree with you Chaingang. Both defenses are EXTREMELY STRONG. I am getting reports that HF may be in negative yardage in the first half. I hope the game lives up to the hype
