I seriously doubt Okie State even scores on our D. Even the Okie State fans are saying this.

Nonetheless, Mack is too classy to run up the score.

Are you kidding???

Texas 60, Louisiana-Lafayette 3
Texas 51, Rice 10
Texas 51, Missouri 20
Texas 45, Oklahoma 12
Texas 42, Colorado 17
Texas 52, Texas Tech 17

With their average margin being 32 points, Texas has enjoyed some pretty comfortable margins this year.

exactly my point....they run the crap up on any team they play, rather than taking a conservative 14 point win and putting in the the second stringers...i understand why they are doing it too...they keep VY in there way to long so they can pad his stats for heisman numbers....

Young didn't play more than 2 series in the second half against Louisiana-Lafayette or Rice, and I am sure handing the ball off in the 4th quarter to running backs is really helping Young's heisman numbers.

Its hard to consider than running up the score when all the games have been blowouts. Well most of the games, excluding Ohio! But when you have 6 teams that avg. 15 points against Texas...that means there O needs some tuning up to keep up. and if the D is given up 40, 50 points a game, then they have a bit of a problem as well. So i highly doubt you can cosider it "runnin the score up".

So is A&M running up the score when they beat SMU by 58 or Oklahoma State by 39?

Running up the score meaning we could have easily score at least 3 more touchdowns in any of those games--easily. But we didn't.

And if you think those margins are "comfortable" by any means, then I disagree with you. This is college football. Anything can happen, sans ULaLa and Rice.

If I was an Ag and knew what was coming in November, I think I'd start complaining early about UT "running up the score", too.;)

for some reason i think the Tech/Baylor game will be closer than 34-17...i could be wrong but we have a really good defense and its homecoming in for the Bears....i guess we will find out sat...

I doubt the score will be that close, I think that Tech runs away with it.

You gotta admit...Mack does leave VY in the game waay too long in blow outs. He played into the 4th in both the Colorado & TT games when the "W's" were well in hand. I guess he got what he wanted...#1 in the BCS.
