Easy killer we have only completed playing up to 2004. In that time frame Abilene Wylie has done well, but they have one state championship. Heck Everman already has two in this decade.

everman has serious talent at times, but as far as a program goes they cant hold a lot of 3A teams jock.

Once I get to work ill figure out what Wylie has done so far this decade.

And I hope we do come out loose on the 28th but I doubt we will lose.

If Wylie runs to the defensive right side like Cooper, Clyde and Sweetwater did and Snyder has not made any adjustments it will be a long night for the Tigers. Hopefully they have and it will be a close game.

Okay here is waht I can remember about the new century and Wylie football. i may be wrong so feel free to correct me:

2000 State finalists - Gatesville champs
2001 First round defeat to Vernon
2002 third round loss to Everman 2nd best 3A team ever
2003 Semi Finalists- lost to eventual champ gainesville
2004 State Champs

while this is impressive i dont know about best so far. And this comes from a Wylie fan

I still dont think they can consider themselves " the team of 2000's" Id pick Everman or Gilmer over Wylie any day...not that i have a prob with em( even though they beat us in the Q-Finals;) ) I just dont think you can say your the best by JUST playoff apperances.

Not saying Wylie is the team of the decade but what all has gilmer done? Everman has been gone for almost half of the decade now.

If it was just one BOY you should be embarassed. It was a the defensive boys that won that game for Wylie. The muffed punt int he 4th quarter should have been the turning point in the game. Because of Wylies defense it wasnt.
