Friday or Saturday Playoff Games

When would you prefer to play a playoff game?

Friday night

Saturday Afternoon or Night

High school football is meant to be played on friday nights....

I don't have a preference....I just hope if Greenwood makes the playoffs and plays Swater/Snyder....that whoever Monahans plays out of Sweetwater/Snyder is played on the opposite day.

I would love to see both of those games!

I agree with high school ball being played on Fridays, but playing on Saturday gives you another day of preparation.

I prefer Friday Nights!! :clap: I hate having to wait until Saturday to play and then to make matters worse, a day game? The only good thing game days are good for are pictures!! :D

look at the bright side, you'll have that many more good pictures to be autographed by high school athletes. way to go, guy!

There is something about a Saturday playoff game that is real special...It just feels good to play em on that day BUT nothin compares to a Friday night Game!! Thats true football time in Texas!!

I know everyone disagrees, but strictly as a fan, I would like a Saturday afternoon.

Picture this....wake up, treat yourself to a good breakfast....drive 3 hours....sit out in the sun on a crisp, November day....treat yourself to dinner....and then still get home at a decent time.:cool:

I can't say that I have a set preference. It was great last year to watch our boys play at New Braunfels in the afternoon, then hurry to Seguin to watch Cuero & Wimberley play.

As long as we're playing, I don't really care when it is. :)

while on the topic of playoffs, I think they should give the D1 playoff teams a week bye at the beginning and then play the D1 and D2 state championship games as a double header. That would be a good day of football!!!

Friday nights in the regular season.But I like Saturday in the playoffs.Gives you more time if you have to travel far.

When it comes to the playoffs, I think all teams quote Minnie Pearl---"I just so proud to be heeeeeere", Friday or Saturday.

I like Friday night games the best which is a good thing because Fairfield never plays Saturday playoff games.

I agree. Some towns have drives of over 4 hours one way and a Friday night game is not feasible then.

I like the Friday night games, but I'm not picky I'll go to the Saturday games too if Canton ends up playing on Saturday. :)

depends on how far away it is........but that being said, buckeyes have a long history of playing well in afternoon games.

Friday nights are good only if the neutral site is not to far away. If not your stuck driving home late. Otherwise its good to schedule it for a Saturday afternoon.
