Now there is NO way you could put the Big East above the Big 12. Team for team...our #1 beats their #1, #2 beats their #2, and so on a good ways down the line.

the ACC is already THE basketball conference, are they now THE football conference too?

Interesting...

I likes it this way:

1. SEC
2. ACC
3. Big 10 (aren't there 11 schools in the big 10, though?)
4. Pac 10
5. Big 12
6. Big 80

There are only two teams in the Big Ten who couldn't whip all but one Big XII squad. Hell, Northwestern could take out ten of our 12 teams.

I used to think the ACC was better, but I also used to think Snake Eyes could procreate with Barbie. Just ain't true.

The SEC by far is the best because it has 4-Georgia, 5- Bama, 7-LSU, 16-Florida, 19-Auburn, 23-Tennessee. With all of them beating up on each other every week, I feel that they are the best teams in the Nation.

I agree....the SEC wins this one by a landslide

Let's line 'em up, best team to worst:

SEC/Big Ten

Georgia/Penn State- Georgia as long as Shockley plays
LSU/Ohio State- tossup
Bama/Wisconsin- Bama
Auburn/Northwestern- tossup
Tennessee/Minny- Minny
Florida/Michigan- Michigan
Vandy/Iowa- Iowa
Ole Miss/Mich St.- Michigan State by a landslide
Arkie/Purdue- Purdue by a landslide
South Carolina/Indiana- tossup
MS St./Illinois- tossup

Those are the top 11 teams from the SEC. I left Kentucky out of the argument for the SEC's sake, but the top nine teams in the Big Ten could compete with ANY team in the nation. Michigan is in the bottom half of the conference, but the Wolverines could run with UT or USC any day of the week.

I got the ACC second, followed by the SEC, the Pac-10, the Big XII and the Big LEast.

Yeah, but they lost to Vandy and barely beat Kentucky, Memphis and Wyoming. It seems like that Bama game was just a fluke.
