State polls are so regionally biased that it's not even funny.

How can a voter from deep East Texas know about a 3A teamn from the Panhandle? Or someone from the Valley know about a Dallas area team?

It's not possible.

of course they are biased ... thats been discussed here many times. amazes me how some folks get so worked up on where/how/why not their team is ranked in whatever poll.

I'm not worked up, nor do I really care.

But yeah, some people get really bent out of shape over this stuff.

How true, KTJ. That's what makes it so hard for a "fan" to talk knowlegeably about games out of his area. I post sometimes just for the "fun" of it, but refrain from making detailed analyses, because frankly, I just don't know. Wish somebody with a lot of time and money would put up a site with game DVD's of some of the top teams from around the state.
