(AP WIRE) Cuero, Texas October 24, 2005

Officials announced today that an arrest was made outside
Cuero, Texas by local law enforcement in the case of the
missing Silver Boot. The trophy was found alongside
the Bayou Bucket awarded to the winner of the UH/Rice
game and the Claret Jug along with Bevo from UT
and Reveille from Texas A&M. FBI claims I was an
"ACT OF DESPERATION" and was an Isolated Incident.
The boot was promptly returned to Arlington where Rangers
officals could not be contacted because the season was over.

I play here at Rice and after winning last years game against UH, we have the Bucket and it has never left the historic Coaches Table in the football office.
