To the BH fans--a question?

Is it possible that Huffman can NOT make the postseason and BH be Division I. We recognize you are a more than a worthy opponent in Division II.

I can't see Huffman missing out on the playoffs. They have Liberty and Cleveland left. Liberty has given them problems in the past but Liberty is way down over previous years. Cleveland is OK but I don't know if they can hang with Huffman. Huffman would have to lose both games to be knocked out of the playoffs. I just don't see that happening.

I believe the only way BC will play Barbers Hill is if we go in 3rd place. We need to beat H-F to secure the tie for 1st. Looks like we will be playing Cleveland out of 23-3A, if i'm reading correctly.

Anything could happen in our District this year.

Other than BH not winning District.

Huffman would be my pick to finish second.

Followed close by Cleveland in third.

I was picking Cleveland to fill the 3rd spot earlier this year instead of Liberty.

But Huffman, Cleveland, Liberty, and Splendora could all could be contenders for a playoff spot.

Any one team could beat the other any given Friday night.

If Huffman beats Splendora and Liberty they are in.

If Huffman loses to Splendora and Cleveland it would possibly come down to a point spread game between Huffman and Liberty which Huffman would have to win by more that 7 points for them to get in and boot Splendora out.

If they lose to all three then of couse they are out.

If it played out like this I think it would be possible for BH to go D1.

Possibilities of Huffman missing out:
1. Huffman losing the next two games
2. Should Liberty beats Huffman and Huffman beats Cleveland and
BH beats Liberty leaving Cleveland, Huffman and Liberty in a three way tie for second going to the distrct formula to pick two playoff teams

Possibilities of Huffman making it in:
1. Huffman wins out and earns a spot
2. Should Liberty beat Huffman and Huffman beat Cleveland and
Liberty beats BH that would leave Cleveland and Huffman in a tie with Huffman going to the playoffs because of the win over Cleveland
3. Should Huffman beat Liberty and Cleveland beat Huffman and
Liberty beat BH causing Huffman and Liberty to be tied for third place and Huffman would again make the playoffs with the win over Liberty

Yes, there is still a lot of ball to be played, but HF is still pretty much a lock for 3rd. They would have to lose to HJ which isn't going to happen. HF is the strongest opponent we've faced yet in this district.

It always seems like Liberty puts it into another gear when they play BH but BH is just to much for yall this year.

Barbers Hill will be ready for Liberty and will win this year. Liberty doesn't have what it takes this year.
Huffman may just notch win number one in their belt this year against Liberty.

Thats how I see it also. I do however think Huffman will have the third spot in district. IMHO Huffman will beat Liberty tonight, but will drop in intensity against Cleveland and lose the last game. I like Huffman I just think Cleveland has something special going on over there this year.
