LINDALE – Canton quarterback G.J. Kinne threw for 308 yards and one touchdown and added three touchdowns on the ground as Canton improved to 3-0 in District 15-3A with a 27-20 victory over Lindale. Canton tallied 481 yards of total offense on the night and forced 4 Lindale turnovers defensively. Canton's Houston Tuminello caught 12 passes for 144 yards and one touchdown. Canton led 13-10 at the half and increased their lead to 20-10 midway through the third quarter. Canton's defense stopped Lindale twice in the second half from inside the 20 to hold on for the win. Canton is in first place in District 15-3A with a 7-1, 3-0 in district record. Lindale falls to 1-2 in district and 3-5 for the year. Canton will host Chapel Hill next Friday.
