The $5,000 ticket
Only Longhorn Foundation donors who gave $5,000 or more this year will be receiving tickets from the University of Texas' allotment for the Nov. 25 game at Texas A&M, ticket manager Mark Harrison said Thursday. Texas was given the Big 12 minimum of 3,850 seats at Kyle Field, and Longhorn Foundation donors get the first shot at them, with the biggest donors getting their requests filled first. UT ran out at the $5,000 level. But not even all of the $5,000 donors are guaranteed seats. Only those who've given $32,000 or more over the years will get tickets from the UT allotment.
