An ugly win but a win nontheless. The boys are 8-0 and most teams would kill for that.
Congratulations Pirates!

The stats weren't in the paper this morning, and I'm sort of glad they weren't. I know one thing for absolutely certain, last night's game ball should have gone to Sinton's defense. They kept us in the position to win all night and even chipped in a defensive touchdown. Despite scoring two touchdowns of their own, the offense had what I would call a "pedestrian" night. Two bright spots for the "O" were Burk's catch for a TD and Jason's THREE in a row extra point kicks. Way to go JASON!!!

Got off work late so I just listened to it on radio. Sounded like Ramirez was havin all kinds of ball handling problems. But the announcer said Mathis was puttin alot of pressure on him too forcing him into bad throwin situations. On the flip side Sintons D sounded awesome.

They did manage to flush him out of the pocket a couple of times, but it was more of a downfield coverage thing than a pass rush situation. He could have thrown the ball away in those two situations, but tried to "force" the play. Even us "armchair" experts know what happens when you do that.

Still, all in all, a win is a win. Ugly as it was, it put a "W" up for us.
