The other three in the 'pen:
Andy Pettitte, Larry Dierker, and I took a half year of Randy Johnson over several from Mike Hampton.
*Moved him back to catcher because we've had a plethora of good 2B but not that many catchers.
**Tough to pick him over Jeff Kent, Billy Doran and a few others, but his leadership and all-around great play led me to choose him.
+ Toughest choice to make. It came down to Rader, Ken Caminiti, and Sean Berry. Berry had the best individual years of the three, but that only lasted for a few seasons. Rader was better over a longer period of time, so I gave the nod to him.
++Beltran was great, but only gave us half a season. Moises Alou, Derek Bell and Roger Cedeno just missed the cut.
