If looks determined pitching ability:

Randy Johnson, Julian Taveras, and Ezequiel Astacio could not throw a strike from the Little League mound

I would love to see the Astros put about 8 to 10 runs on the board early. Then we can keep the crowd out of it and let Roy do his thing. Tonight is the night to finish this series and head to Chicago. We don't want to see a game 7 I don't think!!! Go ASTROS!!!!!!

there is no way in hell we want to see a game 7.....even with roger in game 7 there is only a slight chance they will beat the cardinals....they better get it done tonight

I agree leave him until the 9th.

WOS1
10-19-2005, 09:44 PM
I think he should let him come back out, but keep him on a short leash. If we can get through this inning, we can pinch hit for him next inning. That would be ideal.

PhiI C
10-19-2005, 09:46 PM
We have to be careful. Remember we were one out away with no one on base with a 2 run lead and lost the game. Caution is necessary.

That was a gutsy performance by O. He's done his job.

WOS1
10-19-2005, 09:54 PM
No doubt, we can't ask to be in a better position. I think the Cards are in some serious trouble. We'll pinch hit for O this inning, bring in Qualls for the 8th and then give Lidge another shot to close it out. Let's go Stros!!!

3 more outs and NO PUJOL!!!! Way to go Qualls. Tonight the Stros have put a complete game together to this point. Everyone has done their job so far on the mound and at the plate.
