Navasota is in a must win game to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. Rattlers will have to play much much better than they have all year to beat Bellvile at the Pasture. Anything is possible, I would love to see an upset, but i don't see it happening this friday. Bulls win by atleast 3 touchdowns.

Bellville had closer game than expected with Sealy last week. They'll be more ready to play against Navasota.

By the way, Sealy people, I think Tigers are much better than their record. Hard to believe they haven't won more games. They had given Cuero tough game earlier and gave bellville all they could handle last week.

Brahmas by 2-3 touchdowns. Something like 30-10.

Brahmas get it going against Navasota after a lethargic showing against Sealy. Bellville 42 Navasota 14.

This will not be much of a game. Bellville by 30. I like to stay conservative.

I'll just say that it's at Bellville so it could get ugly! Not gonna make a call on the final score. Go ahead Rattlers and prove me wrong, won't hurt my feelings a bit.

No one gives Navasota a chance (except me). That's good. Hope the Bellville players think the same.

It'll be closer than anyone thinks.

Pulling for Bellville in this one because 1) I wanna see them play Giddings in week 1 in D1 and 2)I don't wanna see them on the opposite end of the field again this season! (yes that's a compliment!)

Gotta love those Brahmas! Don't know what's happened to Navasota's run the past few years, but I don't hold out too much hope for them pulling an upset. Especially at the Pasture! GO BRAHMAS!!

Practically the whole team from last year graduated!

I think the swap of Sealy's Keener to QB from WR was the main cause for last week's close game. I'm not sure anybody was expecting Sealy to do that mid-season.

I think Bellville gets back on track and beats Navasota by 24.

Does Sealy run the table with the new QB?

According to the Bellville Times, a Bellville win would clinch a playoff trip for the Brahmas. It would almost assure them that they would go D1, with Navasota only having a slim chance of still making the playoffs with 2 wins. Navasota would need alot of help from other teams.

All I'm gonna say is this.....it's hard to undergo a coaching change, especially with an enexperienced team....added on with having to reformat the whole offense and defense?

Think about it, Navasota has pretty much fielded last year's JV team with our Fullback, a wide reciever and a few guys who haven't played the game since their 9th grade year. And that's not me playing around. That's dead honesty.

I'm going to be honest some more, and this isn't a low blow or anything, but I'm surprised that Navasota has won the games they have.

I expected Hempstead to be top of the district, and I still think they will be. I see them in the Playoffs with Sealy being the odd man out and Navasota and Columbus in the Back 2.

The team is running off of straight Heart. That's all they have. And I think with that, they have a chance to beat Bellville. Slim....but still....a chance is a chance.

Heart is a powerful thing.
Navasota could Rocky Balboa their way to a victory.
They gain bigtime if the score is less than 20.

Well put NHSrattler60. You are dead on about this young Rattler team. They will be great in the future but this year is nearly over for them. I can't see them running the table in such a strong district. You know those guys as well as I do and I'm sure we both look forward some some great years ahead for them.

Hey Rattler60, you say Hempstead 1st in this district? Have you seen Bellville yet? If not you may change your mind after seeing Bellville tonight.
